Course Description:
First Six Weeks: Students will study computer operations, digital citizenship, copyright, citing sources, Internet research, and all things relating to research. Students will use problem solving and critical thinking skills to complete individual projects ranging from a variety of subjects. Students will store and retrieve their content in Google Classroom.
Second Six Weeks: Students will develop create and develop spreadsheets. They will also use different types of multimedia to complete projects. Digital collections will be created to illustrate specific skills and content.
Third Six Weeks: Students will create multimedia presentations, audio and graphic files. Students will create programs with loops and events to develop skills needed to solve everyday problems. The students will be introduces to coding algorithms using HTML programming. They will learn computer science concepts and write algorithms for everyday tasks.
